Spring Watch

The Yorkshire Wolds is home to a vast amount of flora and fauna, including many rare species. At Kipling House Barn we are lucky to witness; hares, red kites and deer on an almost daily basis.

This year right by the main Front door of the Barn in the decorative olive tree is a goldfinch nest. We have been tracking and observing the nest and are pleased to announce that 5 young chicks have hatched. We feel incredibly lucky that these beautiful birds have chosen to nest in our peaceful sanctuary.
