The ground floor features a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, creating a welcoming space to holiday together. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay, while the cosy living area with log-burner provides the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring the surrounding countryside. The cottage also includes a large utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a further large porch, making longer stays and holidays with dogs and children more convenient.
Upstairs, you'll find three beautifully presented bedrooms designed with comfort in mind. Two bedrooms feature luxurious king-size beds, while the third offers an executive single bed with a convenient pull-out trundle bed beneath, making it ideal for families.
Outside, a large secure grassed area at the front of the cottage offers plenty of space for children to play and for well-behaved dogs to enjoy the fresh country air. Whether you're seeking a tranquil escape, outdoor adventures, or quality time with loved ones, Hind Cottage provides the ideal setting for a memorable Yorkshire getaway.

In the Area
Hind Cottage is situated between the Yorkshire Wolds villages of Shiptonthorpe and Middleton on the Wolds and is perfectly placed to explore East and North Yorkshire’s cities, countryside and coastlines.
We’re only 20 miles away from Hull, 22 miles from York and 23 miles from the East Yorkshire coast at Bridlington.

Additional Information
Please note, that alongside the Barn and Hind Cottage there is a farmhouse which has long-term tenants in situ. The farmhouse is semi-detached with Hind Cottage sharing an internal wall. Parking for the Cottage and farmhouse are in a similar area but do not overlap as there is a large area for parking. The family in the farmhouse are lovely, they are a married couple with two grown-up children, the sheep belong to this family whereas the cows are belonging to Sarah (owner).
East Yorkshire is blessed with host of great restaurants, artisan producers and independent shops and home deliveries can be made to Kipling House Barn by supermarkets and local, independent retailers including Rafters greengrocers and butcher, F.Leake. Traveling with Little Ones
We welcome families with young children and can provide up to two travel cots with mattresses, as well as a highchair, upon request.
