Harold the Hare

Last Autumn, a new character joined Kipling House Farm. As you drive up to the gates of the Barn, you will be greeted by Harold the Hare. Harold is a 5ft wooden statue of a hare. He is sat by the Dew Pond to the Front of the Barn, and he watches over the farm with the impressive Yokrshire Wolds behind him.

The woodland surrounding Kipling House Farm underwent some maintenance in the winter of 2021-2022 and some dying, and weak trees were felled. With a number of impressive trunks just left behind in the woodland, Sarah contacted a local woodworker to get a felled trunk made into a inspiring feature for the Farm – the result, was Harold!

We think Harold makes the spectacular Yorkshire Wolds views even more memorable.
