Let’s talk Wedding Accommodation!
East Yorkshire is blessed with an array of stunning wedding venues to suit a range of wedding styles, see a full list here. We are lucky enough to be within driving distance to a majority of these, and we think we are a great space for wedding accommodation. Sleeping 19+, we can host a wedding party, extended family or a group of friends attending a wedding in the local area for a few days.
Kipling House Barn is a large accommodation sleeping 19-22 in beds spread throughout 8 ensuite bedrooms. We are family friendly with kids toys and a whole load of baby equipment (read more here) making travelling with little ones stress-free. We also have three ground floor bedrooms, including one designated accessible bedroom with a fully accessible ensuite – perfect for those who aren’t as steady on their feet.
Wedding parties can enjoy getting ready together in the upstairs lounge or ground floor dining/living space while enjoying the panoramic views of the Yorkshire Wolds. For the most relaxed guests, we think a glass of prosecco in the hot tub is a great way to start the day of celebrations – for the Bridesmaids getting your hair and makeup done at 7am we recommend getting your hot tub fix the day before!
Each bedroom has a vanity mirror on a desk with a pouffe or chair, and a mirror above the ensuite sink. Bath sheets, hand towels and hot tub towels are provided per person. There is a large full-length mirror on the landing, and the majority of the bedrooms have full-length mirrors within the wardrobes.
The striking original beams make a great hanging space for bridal gowns for that essential before photo of the wedding dress in all its glory.
For the day after, why not make use of our Weber four grill gas BBQ (gas included) and relax on the outdoor sofas while reminiscing about the magical day before.
